A native of Chicago, Illinois, his distinctive colorful palette and style expresses a whimsical approach to painting. His sculptures are figurative representation of the human body.

Michael Pritchard is a contemporary figurative/portrait painter and sculpture who lives and works in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A native of Chicago, Illinois, his distinctive colorful palette and style expresses a whimsical approach to painting. His sculptures are figurative representation of the human body.
He began his artistic journey in the late 90’s, studying art at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, earning a Drawing/Painting Certification. He continued to hone his skill by studying at various Art Academies. He moved to South Florida and continued his artistic career in 2005, exhibiting at several art exhibits and earning awards and completing commissions for the South Florida community. He recently began exploring large scale Urban Landscapes, his interest in Urban Architectural design began in Chicago and continues today.
